Race Cars

Here you will mostly see finished paint and body work of race cars. You may also find the results of many years of working on a wide range of competition vehicles. Our major amount of experience is in drag racing but we have also worked on just about every other form of race car at one time or another. 				Recent Race Cars This beautiful truck was brought to us disassembled. We gave it some TLC and did minor repairs. From there it was painted in a coarse metallic ground coat which was used as the base for candy apple green flames. We then air brushed the grill, lights and drop shade under the flames. Then the flames were outlined with a pinstripe. Finally all panels were sprayed with three coats of clear.




				Roland Leong's Hawaiian Dragster This very exciting project is regarded as one of the top 3 most significant race cars in drag race history. The car was owned by Roland Leong and driven by Don "The Snake" Prudhomme. This is how Joeyâ€™s Place received the car from Dave Jeffers Vintage Race Cars. Dave was responsible for building the car and the engine was build by Mike Kuhl Engineering.




				Latest Race Cars A very cool and popular race car team with Ron Hodgson, Tim Boychuk and Roland Leong (the Hawaiian). The paint is done with PPG flakes and candies.




				Our Early Years This Nostalgia Funny Car was a major job that involved restoring a used up 70â€™s body which was previously owned by Tom Hanna. The process involved lengthening by 15â€, moving the wheel openings and much more-especially the multi colour paint scheme.
