2010 Indy in Edmonton.

We were very happy to have been one of very few companies invited to display work at this year’s race.

We showed some of our current work which included seven vehicles; demonstrations of 3M clear and matt finish plastic stone protection and Di Noc carbon fiber wrap installations.

Canada's Biggest Drag Race Event This year’s 2010 IHRA race was another huge success. The Joey's Place race team was just short of winning it for the second time. The team made it all the way to the finals but lost by 0.048 of a second to our good friends and customers the Ron Sekura 1969 Camaro F/C team. To see much more coverage of the event go to www.speedzonemagazine.com or www.rockymountainnostalgiafunnycars.com

Canada’s Biggest Drag Race Event Joey and the team are feeling confident and happy after winning the first big race of the year in Ashcroft B.C.; as well as running very well in a Chicago shoot out in Calgary. To be in the final round at any national event is both an accomplishment and a great memory.

930 - Porsche Here is the finished product from a full body restoration on a very deserving car. The exterior was totally disassembled which included removal of doors, fenders, hoods and valances. The panels and full body were meticulously prepared before being painted in pieces (off the car). The assemble process then followed. There were many issues, including electrical to mechanical, that were addressed in this restoration.

Look for many more pictures of the process in our web site.

67 Mustang  Here we have the final results of a mid range body restoration.

The car was disassembled, stripped of paint and then all prep processes were completed. It needed new doors and fenders.  As you can see it is painted in a more current pearl color yet it still compliments the original shade of green.

Custom PT Cruiser

We were asked to customize a PT Cruiser for a Calgary client.

The result is a custom grill, a body kit, some air brush art work and complete paint.

The back of the car received some very subtle art work.

Sentinel Self Storage This is # 15 in a series of cube vans we have done for Sentinel Self Storage. Each van is 100% hand done art work (no decals). Each van is different from the other and unique to it's location in Canada. Since this van is going to a new area outside of Toronto we painted a Google map on the rear door. If you are borrowing this van there will be no excuses for getting lost!

It may not be as well known that we also offer expertise and experience in repairs especially where quality is a concern. We are not competing with collision shops where flat rate insurance repair work is concerned. If you want the extra attention to repairing your car then give us a call.

Body Kit Installation We are often asked if we install body kits and the answer is yes. There are many cars on our web site that may be showing everything from aftermarket spoilers to complete body kits. These kits do often require patience and experience to properly fit and install. Unfortunately one never really knows how much work is involved until the parts are test fitted on the vehicle.

Hot Rod Repairs While we were not the original builders of this car we were still happy to help the owner resolve some issues. We were able to sort out some short comings in the original build, resolve some electrical issues, resolve some body related problems as well as repaint four fenders and the running boards.

Very Rare Mustang: This is an all original 1966 Shelby G.T.350-H. Although it is receiving a full restoration it still has all its original sheet metal and 95% of the parts being used for the restoration are original Ford parts and not reproduction.

Paint work with a twist: This may look like a regular Cadillac XLR but if you could see it in the sun you would notice something different. This is just one of the many options we offer in paint.

Since this customer wanted something a little different we delivered To do this we bagan with our regular paint process up to a coat of original black ground. From there, we added a couple coats of white pearl and then two coats of candy apple dye. The end result is a very beautiful dark candy red color. These processes were not much more time consuming than if we had done the stock color.

 2010 EMDA Auto Show

This 2010 GMC truck is also featured at the show. We were asked to modify and install the wide body kit which would have been much easier if it were a race vehicle (as initially intended. Unfortunately, the fit was not good so extensive modifications were done to get a nice factory style fit of the fender, hood, tailgate and tail lights.

We also modified the inner structure to preserve factory hood hinge mounts and inner splash shields. Last but not least, we straighten the panels and painted the truck so it appeared as if it rolled off the assembly line.

1979 Ford F-250 This was a major project forus. We started with the frame, and then built an aggressive suspension and drive line. Then we restored the body and painted it in DuPont Hot Hues Candy orange. The truck received all new trim and mouldings, a very nice custom snake skin interior and a sound system.

The engine is a 514 cubic inch big block in the 620 H.P range. It got accessories and many mechanical up dates.

Joey’s Place Race Team in Bakersfield California:Joey and his team along with six other race teams from Edmonton made the long haul to Bakersfield California to compete at the NHRA Hot Rod Reunion. Out of the 6 teams – 4 funny cars made the very competitive show. Joey qualified in the #6 spot out of 24 cars in his class. He made it all the way to the final round. Unfortunately Joey went out of shape, took out a center cone and lost. All things considered the team was very happy with the results and the memories from their weekend.

Custom Truck Another project for our friends at Ron Hodgson Chevrolet, GMC. This is a little different from the norm. The factory color was preserved on the front end for the flames and the remainder of the truck was sprayed in Hot Rod satin black. The out line was then hand pinstriped in a blood red.
