Current Projects

The process of building these projects is both labor intensive and time consuming. From beginning to finishing challenges are often unique to each project but the overall processes are very similar.

We hope the depictions on this page will help you understand the amount of time, effort and passion it takes to deliver high standards of quality work. We encourage you to follow the development of these builds as they progress.

Some of the Work in Progress

Custom paint work on body panels for a very specialized truck. This is one of four sets of panels being done in preparation for the Baja 1000 desert race.

1971 Cuda Resto-Rod

Due to extensive rusting this car will receive a full body restoration. Major mechanical upgrades which will include a complete X-V Motorsports Level II full suspension packager, an aluminium Hemi (from Indy Engines) and a 5-speed transmission.

1970 Resto-Rod Chevelle

This is the starting point as received from customer. Here we have another restoration where the body will be taken to a very high standard. Every body panel will be replaced. The panel fit and straightness as well as the gapping will far surpass the original produced line quality. To compliment this body will be: an updated drive train which will have a 572 cubic inch GM crate engine, a four-speed automatic transmission, four wheel disc brakes and a full Hotchkis suspension.

1965 Corvette

New project - 65 Corvette
Starting point as dropped off from customer.
Not all cars brought to us are getting modern drive trains. This car is here for the highest quality we can deliver in a numbers correct frame off restoration. Right down to the chalk marks, this customer wants a true and complete restoration of body, frame and every other component. As seen here we are chemically stripping the existing lacquer paint job.

1972 Challenger

As dropped off by customer.

Resto-Rods has become the common term for (big demand) the modernizing of older muscle cars. This 1972 Challenger has received a full rotisserie restoration. As seen here, the "K" member has been fabricated allowing for tubular control arms, rack in pinion steering and coil over shocks. The rear suspension will compliment the front. The drive train is going to be centered around a big inch small block and 5 speed Tremec transmission.

1969 Camaro

The starting point for this project appeared to be a very nice solid car. We would find out diffferently as work progressed.
